How do we make our jewellery?

How do we make our jewellery? That’s today's #MeetTheMakerWeek question.

As you now know Jude designs and makes all our pieces using a variety of combined materials including; wood, copper, brass, steel, Formica and silver. She combines traditional metal working skills she learnt at Uni with the mixed materials and technology she got to know as an art teacher.

Larry our laser cutter cuts all the wood and Formica we use. Jude then paints each piece with a specialised varnish to protect the metal from oxidising. All our jewellery is made using silver chain and earring posts.  We don’t use platings that wear off.

With over two years product development, our collections have been thoroughly tested to ensure high quality of craftsmanship. We take the time to make with longevity in mind.
